Yep, but we need two of those type of players for away games

Kouyate and Noble have never been dedicated defensive midfielders - they both play there but they are not naturals in that particular role - both have done their best work in a slightly advanced position arriving late into the box

You mean a sort of Obiang?

Re: Morgan Schneiderlin
Spot on Alex V. Fellaini will certainly be available this January window coming or next season but, a lot of clubs would be interested I think.

Schneiderlin is a fine defensive midfielder but isn't he much like many of the players we already have? Surely we have a bigger need for a RB and CB at this moment in time?

With Collins out for a while and Kouyate a make-shift CB we cannot drop Ogbonna who really needs to be rested after the last performance!

Re: Morgan Schneiderlin
The problem with Fellaini, apart from the fact he's a cunt is that he'll be suspended as frequently as our injury prone players are injured.

He got booked after a minute against us at OT.

Re: Morgan Schneiderlin
Alex V I agree quite like Fellani as a player. Agressive and would add bit to our midfield. Also very good in and around oppositions box!

It's sacrilege to even be heard to say he shouldn't be starting Barty.

Even though he's playing worse than the other mob.

Why not? Is Noble unable to compete for a place in the starting eleven?

eusebiovic 4:29 Tue Dec 6
Re: Morgan Schneiderlin
I'd take Schneiderlin without hesitation...In fact I've been thinking about what the chances would be of signing him on loan for a couple of months now

We desperately need a disciplined player who just sits in front of the defence wins the ball and lays off the simple pass to the attacking players...

As Cantona would say "A Water Carrier"

Then we could play
4-1-3-2 at Home +4-2-3-1 Away

And thats why it'll never happen!

Re: Morgan Schneiderlin
I'd take Fellaini. Yes he's a hothead but he's very tidy in midfield, tenacious, and a genuine menace in the air. Our set pieces are clearly vital to us, he would add to that.

Noble, he has been very bad this season

Re: Morgan Schneiderlin
10 years ago there's no way Jose would've picked Fellaini over Schneiderlain.

Would take Morgan but feel there's other areas that are more pressing

Re: Morgan Schneiderlin
Yeah, good signing but in place of WHOM?

Grumpster 3:50 Tue Dec 6
Re: Morgan Schneiderlin
Can't help thinking he's happier with the easier life now and not a relegation scrap.

He'd get plenty of offers, but would be an excellent signing.

Vexed 3:50 Tue Dec 6
Re: Morgan Schneiderlin
Would be a better than decent signing. Who would he displace in the team though?

not sure we'd compete with everton albeit we have beat them to a few of late
